Regular fillers: Hyaluronic acid is firmly cross-linked to hold a defined shape, but the result can look artificial.
Hydrating glow injections: Focus only on hydration, with no volumizing effect.
HILO WAVE: Loosely and gently bonded hybrid hyaluronic acid spreads naturally within the skin. Rather than artificially filling hollow areas, it strongly attracts moisture while stimulating your skin to produce its own collagen and elastin, delivering subtle volume, firmness and glow all at once.

It is most effective for a "peanut-shaped face", where overall facial volume loss has made contours uneven, and for those with thin, dull skin. It is mainly used to naturally improve shadows in areas such as the front cheeks, lateral cheeks, under-eyes and nasolabial folds, where filler may raise concerns about the Tyndall effect (show-through) or a foreign-body feel. Beyond the face, it is also used to improve neck lines and wrinkles on the back of the hands.

Compared with typical skin boosters (such as Rejuran), pain and embossing (raised bumps) are significantly less of a concern.

This is because it uses a small-volume injection method with far fewer needle passes or a blunt-tip cannula. Mild swelling, needle marks or stiffness may last 1–2 days after treatment, but no pronounced bumps (embossing) remain on the skin surface, so even working professionals can return to daily life very easily.

From the day after treatment, the moisturizing effect of hyaluronic acid relieves inner dryness and creates a clear, dewy glow.

Then, over 3–4 weeks, collagen regenerates naturally and natural-looking volume builds up. Volume from a single session lasts about 3–4 months. For longer-lasting results, we recommend 3 consecutive sessions at 4-week intervals initially, followed by maintenance every 6 months to 1 year.

Because it uses high-purity ingredients from France, the risk of clumping (nodules) is very low, and it is considered safe.

Calcium- or PLA-based collagen injections such as Sculptra and Radiesse have the drawback that they cannot be dissolved if they clump, but the main ingredient of HILO WAVE is hyaluronic acid (HA). So even in the unlikely event of overcorrection or minor clumping, it can be safely dissolved at any time with hyaluronidase (a dissolving injection), just like filler.
