Jcell Plastic Surgery Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the “Clinic”) values customers’ personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.

Through this Privacy Policy, the Clinic informs you of the purposes and methods for which the personal information you provide is used, and the measures taken to protect personal information.

Personal Information Items Collected

The Clinic collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultations, service applications, and related purposes.

  • Items collected: name, login ID (email), password, mobile phone number
  • Method of collecting personal information: website (membership registration, online reservations, etc.)

Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information

The Clinic uses the collected personal information for the following purposes.

  • Performance of contracts relating to service provision and settlement of fees according to service provision, and provision of content
  • Member management: identity verification for use of membership services, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use by delinquent members and unauthorized use, confirmation of intent to join, age verification, confirmation of consent from a legal representative when collecting personal information of children under 14, handling complaints and other civil petitions, and delivery of notices
  • Use for marketing and advertising: delivery of advertising information such as events, identification of access frequency, or statistics on members’ use of services

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

Customers’ personal information is retained by the Clinic and used to provide services until 14 days after membership withdrawal. In addition, even if a member does not withdraw, personal information will be destroyed or de-identified in the following cases.

  • If there has been no login for three years or more from the time of membership registration

Your personal information is destroyed by technical methods that make restoration impossible. However, where it is necessary to preserve personal information under relevant laws and regulations, such as the Commercial Act and the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, customer information is retained for the period prescribed by those laws and used only for the purposes specified under those laws.

Procedure and Method for Destroying Personal Information

Information entered by customers or users for website membership registration and similar purposes is transferred to a separate database after the purpose has been achieved (or to a separate document storage cabinet in the case of printed materials), stored for a certain period according to internal policies and reasons for information protection under other relevant laws and regulations (see Retention and Use Period), and then destroyed.

Personal information stored in electronic form and entered by customers for membership registration and similar purposes is destroyed or de-identified by a method that makes restoration impossible after the above retention period has expired. Printed materials containing personal information are destroyed by shredding or incineration.

Transmission of Advertising Information for Commercial Purposes

The Clinic does not transmit advertising information for commercial purposes against a customer’s explicit refusal to receive such information. In addition, where a customer has consented to receive newsletters and emails, the Clinic takes measures so that this can be easily recognized in the subject and body of the newsletter and email.
